Bring on talented remote associates on an hourly basis, exactly when you need them. Research, discovery, drafting, depositions, client meetings, court assistance. No salary, no overhead, no minimum hours.
How it works
Built for working attorneys: describe the work, review applicants, and start delegating. We handle conflicts, time-keeping, and payment.
Describe the work, your timeline, estimated monthly hours, and the hourly rate you'll pay.
Verified remote associates apply. Compare profiles and jurisdictions, pick your favorite, and they clear conflicts before any work begins.
Collaborate in a shared dashboard while hours log to each matter. Timecards arrive every Monday, you review by Friday noon Pacific, and undisputed hours pay the following Monday from a retainer that reloads only as work is used. No minimum, ever.
Features & pricing
Hourly rates are set by experience level and the work involved. You set the gross rate when you post, you're billed weekly for actual time logged, and you re-bill your clients at your own rates.
Research, drafting support, and document review for straightforward matters.
Substantive drafting, hearings, and ongoing matter support under your direction.
Experienced counsel for complex, high-stakes, or specialized work.
Fund a retainer equal to the greater of $1,000 or your hourly rate × max weekly hours. It replenishes weekly as hours are logged, so you only ever pay for the time your associate actually works.

An Hourly Associate is a verified remote attorney you hire on an hourly basis, for as many or as few hours as you need. They work under your supervision on research, drafting, discovery, depositions, client meetings, and court assistance, billed by the hour with no long-term commitment.
Every attorney cleared five gates before appearing: U.S. bar admission in good standing, email confirmation, government-ID verification through Persona, and a bar license confirmed with the issuing jurisdiction by LAWCLERK staff. Only then does a profile go live. See the full verification process →
